This elegant and unassuming walking stick doubles as a land surveyor’s rod, helping to determine both depth and distance. Simply pull up on the handle of this rare cane to reveal the delineated measuring tool hidden within the shaft. Additionally, this cane was in the collection of Catherine Dike, author of Cane Curiosa and one of the world’s best known cane collectors.
